- A single consistent operational view for every authorised operator
A defence contractor relied on a specialist sonar tracking system where conflicting information could create operational ambiguity.
Making the application available to more users was only part of the requirement. Every authorised operator also needed to see the same tracking state, without separate sessions presenting conflicting information.
Adding another application instance or duplicating data would have looked like extra capacity, but it risked presenting operators with conflicting information.
We redesigned access around a controlled Citrix delivery model. Users launched the application through a managed session that presented the same authoritative sonar tracking environment.
The technology was deliberately used to constrain variation. Every authorised operator worked from the same source, at the same point in time, without creating separate operational views.
The client gained a single authoritative view, with no ambiguity about which information operators should trust.
