- Replacement architecture validated in approximately two hours
A client operated a remote access platform that was approaching end of life. Initial guidance suggested there was still around a year to plan the transition.
That position changed abruptly. The vendor reduced the available migration window to only a few months and directed the client towards its preferred SASE replacement.
The client tried repeatedly to make the proposed route work. The migration consumed more time while doubts about the eventual result continued to grow.
When we were asked to review the situation, the requirement was clear: secure remote access, integration with the existing multi-factor authentication service, a straightforward user experience and an implementation that could be proven before production commitment.
A trial platform was deployed alongside the existing environment and connected directly to the client's identity controls. Real access scenarios were tested immediately.
Within approximately two hours, the client had a functioning and repeatable alternative in its own environment.
The organisation retired the existing remote access platform and adopted the alternative it had already seen working. A successful trial in its own environment gave the client a much firmer basis for investment than the vendor roadmap alone.
